Username: Leo Parrish
Character Name: Leo Parrish
Seat you are applying for: 2nd Seat
Why do you think you deserve to be on the magic council?: Leo Parrish is a mage whom wishes for change, much like that of the rest of the world, he too believes the abilities and power of the magic council have dwindled in the past years. Having been his dream for some time, Leo believes it is time for a reborn council, one whom does not simply sit idly by while others take on the mantle of protecting this country. He believes that actions speak louder than words and though discussion is always a key aspect, simply sitting round a table like the previous councils have done would get the new generation of members no were. For eleven years he has focused upon his career, starting off as a rune knight and working his way through the intelligence core up to Brigadier Commander.
With this in mind, Leo believes that he can play a vital part in the new era of the council, being a somewhat wise and loveable man, many whom meet him feel as if they already know him, this aspect of his personality is a great ally when dealing with the public, and after being roused by the speech set forth by the dragon humanoid whom now resides over the first seat of the reborn council. With a well versed back ground in travelling, Leo has seen far to much pain inflicted not only by those whom do not have a governing body, but pain inflicted on those by people whom have an awful one, Leo hopes that with his help, the magic council can once again flourish and grow in to the caring and beloved governments that the world has ever known.

The words spoken via the dragonoid like creature, a legend from the history of old whom had returned to set this world and its governing body back on the right tracks. A speech that had inspired the vast majority of the Rune Knights. He had been one of them, the females words had filled him with more determination than he had ever felt before. It had been eleven years since the blond headed male had taken residence in the ranks of a Rune Knight, it had taken four years for him to climb the ranks to that of the Brigadier General of the intelligence division. Like many others, he was stunned when she had revealed her name to being that of the legend from a long time ago, as head of the intelligence core, Leo had access to all manner of archives and information. There was very little about Fiore's history that he did not know. Yet he feared this would not help him.
The bottle touched his lips, the cool liquid slid down his throat, a refreshing "Aaah" escaped his lips, his eyes moved as he read the text upon the paper in front of him. After being inspired via the draconians words, Leo had written up and sent in his own application for a seat upon the council. He studied the paper closely, the date, the address, the amount of wrinkles upon it. Each little tiny piece of insignificant detail etched in to his mind for eternity. "Twelve Forty Five" Leo would sat to himself. That would be the time when his dream either came true, or was crushed. Indeed the night would be long.
War, assassins, death and destruction, none of this had prepared him for the shambles that would be called his interview. If one is not used to being nervous, then when nerves do strike, they strike hard. The Rune Knight whom was head of the intelligence core would definatly not show this, his replies were somewhat mumbles and idiotic, he couldn't keep his mind focused and every time he answered a question, his voice seemed to break at the most inappropriate of times. Leaving the interview, he could have sworn he had not only failed to gain the seat upon the magic council but had successfully talked himself out of his current position. The day could not get any worse right?
Wrong! shortly after the shambles of an interview, his secretary, Riku, a short but rather lovely man would call, as i said before, not much gets passed the intelligence core. Often looked down upon due to not being based around offensive or defensive capabilities, yet the surveillance of Fiore, the plans those offensive warriors use or the intelligence on how and when to defend were all given by those of this branch. The news given by Riku was news that Leo had been expecting. "It's happening sir, Rudy and a squadron of five Rune Knights are making their move" "Damn, all ready, that was quicker than expected" Leo would say gently in to the mobile lachyrma. "What floor?" he asked the secretary. "Corridor B-3," the voice replied. Upon the information being given, the amber eyed male would gently move his fingers as he begun to walk in the direction he had been informed off. The activation of his spell, the movement of his fingers, had allowed his spy flower to grow and snake its way to the floor much quicker than Leo himself could. The magical plant being able to transit everything it saw to the castor whom summoned it.
"Rudy, Damsa, Celeste, Mura, Tristan and Sebastian, Water, Sword, Spirits, Take over, Gunner, Seith Soul: Animal" Leo would mutter as he descended the stairs. His lachrima would glow gently before buzzing, "Hello" he would say as he answered the communication device. "Boss, we got a request, can you have your flower root itself to the camera lachrma Riku would say. An odd request but a request from a member of the core would not be denied, A secondary flower sprouted and connected to the surveillance lachryma in the long corridor. Arriving at the destination, Leo would cut the six Rune Knights off. Shocked to see a commanding officer standing in their way, they would sneer though. These six were from the Offence Core. "Why hello Mr Parrish, what a sur...""Cut the bull" Rudy would begin to utter yet was cut off by Leo. "We know what your up to, when Magic Council Member Elise made her presence known, the intelligence core was put on high alert, monitoring those whom had views or argumentative natures that opposed what she said days ago, the intelligence core was watching every single person when she made her announcement and what we found out was fascinating. The way you looked at each other, the secret meetings, we know it all" Leo would say, his tone somewhat annoyed, his face scrunched up. "you little f***er, that dragon bitch showed up outta no were, and told us we was dying, that we aint got no power, Well we think differently, we gonna show that cow whose boss around here, if we beat a legend like her, den ain't no one gonna stand in our way" Rudy would say with a smile upon her face. Others would murmur in agreement, smiling and laughing. "What makes you think you can beat her, when you don't stand a chance against me?" Leo would ask?"
You would think he would be used to it by now, though the intelligence core rarely fought, they were always underestimated, they were generally laughed at if they talked about winning fights, the same would happen here, Rudy would begin to speak, at the same time Leo's hand would gently rotate around in circles, "You may be a general, but yer from that pathetic Intel branch, all ya can do is sit and watch shit and think, you aint got no real power" Rudy would say followed by a laugh. "Really?" Leo would ask, at the same time his hand which would have stopped rotating would snap closed. Screams from either side of Rudy would erupt as his members were suddenly swallowed up by multiple plants. The Venus fly trap spell would have been activated upon the rotating of the mans hand, while the snapping close of his hand would have shut them, locking Rudy's team mates up. "You still sure about that?" Leo would ask. "So come on Rudy, whats the real reason? why do you want to get rid of the magic council member?" Leo would ask. The shock and annoyance of his team mates suddenly becoming useless would be evident upon the mans face.
"I told ya she called us weak" "And? She spoke the truth, we have weakened, we don't have nearly as much hold on the guilds as we should, they don't care if the laws are broken because our titles, our ranks, our abilities, they don't see them as the law any more, we all know these, we all spoke about this. so tell me the real reason" the blond haired male asked. Yet instead of a reply, the man known as Rudy would attack, the battle would begin. Mere minutes had passed, the ground now covered in water with tinges of a crimson colour, a man held against the wall to support himself, huffing and puffing. "I shall ask again, what is the real reason" Leo would say softly. While one man held the wall to support himself, the other stood strong, unwavering and unscathed. The plant user had sustained no damage, nor had he moved from the spot he had been. While the man of water had sustained heavy damage and vast magical drain. "F*** off," Rudy replied. "Perhaps you need persuasion, it would seem that being beaten so badly by a member of the intelligence core wasn't punishment enough. Perhaps as they are now technically criminals, they can be disposed off" Leo would say as his hand slowly begun to open. Yet nothing seemed to appear, no visual change. "AAAAHHH, NO PLEASE STOP PLEASE DON'T KILL ME" a voice shouted from the Venus Fly Trap. Rudy widened his eyes, he realized that something was happening within the prison flowers. "no...stop NO STOP IT, SHES NOT HUMAN, SHE HAS NO RIGHT, SHE'S NOT F***ING HUMAN"
There it was, a simple answer. The hand of the mage closed, "Makura Kamura" the Intelligence Commander uttered. As he lifted his hands upwards, more flowers spawned within the corridor, rapidly releasing spores, shooting them through the air. With a click of his fingers, the Venus fly traps would open, revealing the huddled forms of the other mages whom had essentially been nullified from the beginning. The spores would pass over them and Rudy. "Let me tell you all something, Two days ago, Elise showed more humanity than any of you, this world is made up of hundreds of species and races, this is why the council stands, so that people like you can be dealt with, and hopefulyl have their opinion changed, its so the people whom you hate for no reason other than race, can feel protected and safe. That is the job of the Rune Knights, and the job of the magical council, and I will protect such a philosophy with my life, now take your slumber" Leo would utter, the spores would do their job, the six mages would fall in to a deep sleep. Once more the lachryma would be utilized. "Riku?" "Boss, control room now" Leo would hang up, his flowers would retract, knowing Riku would have already called someone to take the slumbering forms, the Intel Core Chief would head up to the main control room.
His eyes widened when he got their, shocked to see those whom interviewed him, standing slightly awe stricken. "Well Mister, who would have thought you would be so different. Tomorrow the announcement will be made, we would be foolish to not grant you a position on the council after such a display of vigour and belief" Leo would stand their in disbelief, shock and surprise upon his face. A laugh escaped the interviewers as they funnelled out of the room, patting the mage on the shoulder as they did. Leo would look at Riku, "How did" "Nothing get's past the Intelligence Core"
